So about a few weeks into my stay in Japan, I buy an album on impulse in a famous little record shop in Osaka called Time Bomb Records. The band is Cansei de Ser Sexy, a Brazilian band that came recommended by the staff there. So I bought it, thoroughly enjoyed it, even sent a few tracks to my boyfriend. He gave little response.

So this morning (two months later!) I get an e-mail from said boyfriend, gushing over a new iPod Touch commercial, with the additional remark of getting the album that song is from. I check the song.

It’s from CSS! After thoroughly scolding him for never listening to me, I am at least happy to see that the band is getting some recognition, even if it is by really strange and odd coincidence that I bought the CD of the band at random. Here is the music video to the song used in the commercial, entitled Music is My Hot Hot Sex.
