Music: Oshiri Kajiri Mushi (Bottom Biting Bug)
NHK is Japan’s national television station, and in the morning they have kids’ shows that often feature songs that become hits among everybody. In 2007 it was Oshiri Kajiri Mushi, which translates to Bottom Biting Bug.
This little bug can be seen everywhere, and there is even a dance made for this. It’s so cute and completely nonsensical, and I can’t seem to get away from it…Even Japanese fashion brand Mono Comme Ca has adopted it as its mascot for Christmas 2007.　It still doesn’t beat my first love though: Dango 3Kyodai (the Three Dango Brothers).
I will be sad when I have to leave these crazy fads behind…
